A Kurdish villager testifies that he fled an attack by Saddam Hussein's forces 18 years ago, leaving behind his mother and two sisters. Years later, their identity cards were discovered in a mass grave. Saddam Hussein is now facing trial in Baghdad Iraq for a bunch of counts of murder and if convicted he faces the death penalty by hanging. One man testifies that he heard women and children screaming and he fled the town without his 2 sisters and mother who were later found dead in the village. When Hussein was asked Why? He still insists that the crack down was for Kurdish guerrillas a terrorist organization in Iraq. The prosecution is demanding that Hussein's statement be declared as a confession but probably will not hold up. Hussein is a world renown terrorist. He has said many times he has weapons of mass destruction and wants to use them. He has been caught trying to mine uranium which mane use is for creating weapons of mass destruction. There is only one good outcome of this trial and that is if Saddam Hussein is convicted and sentenced to death by hanging. |
