Recently in the news we all heard about rush limbo and how he criticized Michael Fox and others of the parkensins disease saying that he was over exaderating his symptoms which would be constant shaking of his muscles. The meds that Michael are on help him gain control of some muscles but make him lose control of other muscles. The ignorence of Limbo and his ditto heads infuriates me becuase they are just so ignorent and obviously have no family history of diseases like that or maybe he would have thought about it. Michael wants to promote stem cell research so that people wont have to suffer like him anymore. The stem cells are going to waste anyway we might as well study them and do some research on them to help cure many diseases. The stem cells are the most precious cells in the body because they have potential to form any cells which parkensins destorys the cells slowly. The stem cells can help grow to produce more healthy strong cells which have been previously destoryed. |

North Korea pledged to return to talks concerning its nuclear program, U.S. and Chinese officials said Tuesday, but analysts question whether Pyongyang is serious about disarmament or just adding another feint to a controversy that has persisted since 1993. U.S. officials, including President Bush, blended optimism and caution Tuesday in reaction to the resumption of the talks, which came after negotiations among North Korean, Chinese and U.S. officials in Beijing. Speaking in Washington, Bush said he was "very pleased" with the decision, but cautioned that there is still "a lot of work to do" to get North Korea to dismantle its weapons program. I think we should be at war with north korea over their nuclear weapons because there is something to do there. I think that if north korea or any country has weapons of mass destruction they should be stopped immediatly and taken out of power. Frankly if bush said that he is "Very pleased" then im not so sure I am going to be pleased with the situtation.

U.S. and Iraqi checkpoints around Sadr City and other parts of Baghdad have opened with vehicles passing through unchecked, following an order by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, the U.S. military said Tuesday. The order for all the entrances of Sadr City to reopen by 5 p.m. (9 a.m. ET) came after a strike ordered by radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr shut down the sprawling Shiite slum Monday. Most shops, schools and government buildings were closed for the day to protest the checkpoints, some of which have paralyzed traffic across the capital over the past week. U.S. and Iraqi troops imposed checkpoints at the main entrance to Sadr City, while conducting raids in their search for an American soldier kidnapped in central Baghdad on October 23. I think that this is just terrable. Battles after battles and dead bodies after dead bodies and nothing is coming of it except full morges. It is stupid that we (us soldiers) are in the middle of iraq patroling their cities and policing their citizens.

Tonight is holloween. Each year our house does somthing amazing at holloween. Last year we did a haunted house, the year before that I dressed in all black and pretended like I was stuffed so when people would come near I could scare them because they thought I was not real. Sometimes I would hold the bucket of candy in my hands so they would have to get real close before I scared them. Sometimes I can hear people talking to each other "is he real I dont want to go up you go up" and stuff like that. When they get real close I would scare the living crap out of them. And the year before that I went around my neighborhood with a chainsaw with the chain taken off and was scaring a lot of people. We will see if we can out do the previous years tonight! |

This past sunday was the best sunday I have had in over a month. The redskins did not lose. They did not win but the agonizing feeling I get the day after when they lose is awful. I get so excited and hyped up because I think something will be different and something will change but al sonders is the problem and nothing is going to change unless he is gone. The skins keep losing game after game when I think that they will win. I keep get disapointed week after week with the defeat of the skins. What makes it even worse is that they hold up ok which leaves the glimmer of hope then it is snatched away from me. |

New York, NY (AHN) - There is good news for baseball lovers. A post season that has been largely void of drama turned on one pitch as the St. Louis Cardinals So Taguchi hit a ninth inning home run off of the New York Mets Billy Wagner. The home run anchored a wild 9-6 win for the Cardinals and evened the series at one game a piece.
Taguchi's heroics were surprising because he did not even start the game. He entered the game in the eighth inning as a defensive replacement for left fielder Chris Duncan. Even more surprising though was the fact he hit a home run. Taguchi's 3-2 swing which landed in the left field bleachers was only his third home run this season.
This is good for the cardinals because they were down. Falling short another game will kill any chances a st. louis of making it to the big show. St. Louis has been in the NLCS for 3 of the past 4 years I am pretty sure. The mets have not won a world serise in over 20 years and would love another chance at doing so. |

LANDOVER, Md. - Vince Young rallied Tennessee from an 11-point first-half deficit, Travis Henry ran for 178 yards and Rob Bironas kicked the last of his three field goals against Washington with 5:11 remaining.
``It means a whole lot to me,'' said Young, the No. 3 overall draft pick. ``Just last week, I was real upset. I thought we were better than 0-5.''
Perhaps nobody on the Titans (1-5) felt the sting of the losing streak worse than Young, the quarterback who went 30-2 at the University of Texas.
``This is huge for Vince, man. He's not used to losing,'' said offensive lineman Jacob Bell, who moved from right tackle to left guard for the second week in a row and helped create 194 yards rushing.
I dont even know what to say to this. It is embarassing to be a redskins fan and watch them lose to a team that has not won. We need to pass the ball more and stop running. Everytime we pass long something amazing happens like a touchdown or a long 50 yard pass. For some crazy reason gibbs does not pass the ball longer than a screen play. If it continues the hopes of playoffs for the redskins will be deminished soon. |

ATLANTA Media mogul Ted Turner sought on Monday to impress upon young Americans the importance of the United Nations, saying those who would weaken the world body are "undermining our future." From weapons of mass destruction to overfishing in the oceans, today's world is full of critical problems that can only be tackled at a global level through organizations like the U.N., Turner told several hundred high school students from Alabama, Florida and Georgia at Georgia Tech's High School Model United Nations. "If we didn't have the U.N., the world would be a failed state," Turner said. "Those who want to ... weaken the United Nations are undermining our future." Turner, 67, has long been a supporter of the United Nations and is its largest benefactor. Last week, he announced that the foundation which he created in 1998 has delivered US$1 billion (€800 million) of new and additional resources to the world body and U.N. causes.
The UN is trying to do the best they can with the new talks of north korea and their weapons of mass destruction. It is not safe for the rest of the world to let a communist country control weapons like that and even more importantly know how to make them. The worst fear of all is that north korea sells the technology to another smaller country like Iran or Iraq and they will execute another 9/11. North korea must be stopped in my opinion. |

Hunger is still the world's biggest killer. It claims the lives of around nine million people every year, much more than disease, war or natural disasters. On World Food Day, the UN's anti-hunger programme faces an uphill battle. Of the 850 million needing help in the world, only 110 million will receive it.
For the World Food Programme, the priority is to feed the planet's 400 million children suffering from starvation, not forgetting the 200 million that are malnourished. The worst affected areas are in nine sub-saharan African countries, as well as some in Asia like Cambodia and Tajikistan.
There is also growing concern over the situation in North Korea, a country that is very dependant on foreign aid. In the wake of its nuclear test carried out last week, the threat of sanctions including aid and food looms large.
The World Food Programme has already noticed a reduction in direct aid, according to spokesman Michael Huggins.
I think it is great people do this for the less fortunate. People die every single day because of hungar and there is simply nothing they can do about it. I think this is a great start and it is moving slowly but will eventually not be a problem around the world. |
